THE DWELLING

Don Vito Residence is a residential complex in Trullo, typical of the rural area between Fasano and Locorotondo. It′s the ideal place to relax in the sun after a swim in the pool or to stroll through the Mediterranean vegetation.
The residence is strategically located between the Itria Valley and the sea, and offers guests, in addition to common areas surrounded by greenery, charming Trullo apartments equipped with kitchenette and bathrooms, an outdoor barbecue, and the possibility of purchasing typical products from Puglia on site.

The house, built in 1884 as the summer residence of a wealthy family from Fasano and later inhabited by the Convertini family, was completely renovated in 2006. Antonio Convertini, who now also acts as the host, has always wanted to transform the ancient trulli, historic homes of the area built of limestone and protected by UNESCO, into welcoming structures for tourists.
The result of this careful restoration is now a charming residence offering every comfort and the chance to immerse oneself in the flavors, scents, and colors of beautiful Puglia.

In your free time, besides enjoying the pool, you can reach the nearby beaches of Torre Canne, Savelletri, Monopoli, and Polignano. Moreover, the property is just a little over an hour′s drive from the sea of Salento. There is no shortage of alternatives: walks in the surrounding countryside, bicycle rental, guided tours of wineries and oil mills.

Archaeology and Nature

Egnazia Excavations, Sassi of Matera, amphitheaters of Lecce, and archaeological museums of Taranto. From Dimora Don Vito, you can reach interesting archaeological and naturalistic sites such as the Castellana Caves and the Coastal Dune Park of Torre Canne - Torre San Leonardo, Torre Guaceto.

There are numerous open-air nightclubs along the coast. Additionally, just a few tens of kilometers away, there′s Fasano′s Zoo Safari. For those who wish to immerse themselves in local traditions, there are many festivals, Putignano′s Carnival, the living nativity scenes, and Christmas settings.
